The IERCC mission is to promote environmental awareness at all age levels by collaborating with government agencies, educational institutions, green sustaining companies and other environmental resources.
Erie Canal 2010
Building on the success of the Erie Canal (the start of the industrial revolution in the United States), the Erie Canal 2010 project aims to propel us into the next green revolution. This state of the art facility will offer green technology, green building technology, photovoltaic power, a wind turbine, and multiple media outlets to fulfill our educational mission. What is the IERCC?
The International Environmental Resource Collaboration Center (IERCC) develops programs to educate the public on the options they have regarding
the environment. The educational mission is accomplished by partnering with other environmental advocacy groups.
The IERCC is a New York State registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational corporation.
The IERCC separated from the IERI (International Electronics Recycler's Institute) which was relocated to Washington, DC as part of another organization. The remaining resources not transferred to Washington, DC became the IERCC in 2009. The IERI conducted educational outreach to the electronics recycling industry. The focus of the IERCC is to support the Eco Ambassador program and to foster collaboration amongst the various environmental resource organizations to further its mission.
